Ahsoka: Episode One and Two Review

Written by Charlie Thomas

Welcome to my review of episode One and Two of Ahsoka. The episode starts with a Star Wars opening crawl, which we haven't seen in a long time, but in red instead of yellow. Similar shots to the Darth Vader in Rogue One show, and composed to a great score by Kevin Kiner, who also did the music for Clone Wars and Rebels. We are introduced to the new Dark Jedi.

I liked in this show, how there is a lot of parallels and references to Rebels and other Star Wars shows, like the Night sister temple, which I did not expect to see in this episode, or even there being Night sisters in the show. at the end of episode two there was a reference to the end of Rebels.

I think that all of the cast does a great job bringing all of the Rebels and Clone Wars characters into live action and the actors who return from voice acting into playing the characters in live action, including Clancy Brown, who is in pretty much everything, from animated Marvel shows, the Flash and The Shawshank Redemption.

There is know another character on the long list that has survived a lightsabers stab wound (not Qui Gon Jinn). In the second episode we find about another galaxy, which his unusual for Star Wars as we normally are in a Galaxy far far away. The path to Peridea is a new thing in Star Wars lore, but I think it will be expanded on in the future.

Overall, so far I am loving Ahsoka and I would give episodes one and two, a 8.9/10
