Annual Reload Best of The Year 2022

Happy New Year! Welcome to the first annual Reload BOTY where we will be counting down the Greatest TV Show, Rerelease, Actor/Actress, Comic Book Movie, Documentary and Movie, so let's get into it!

TV Show

Although many would disagree, I think the best TV Show of the year is Obi Wan Kenobi. The Prequels are controversially my favourite Star Wars trilogy, and seeing Ewan McGregor back again for a limited time was very special to me. Ewan and Haydens relationship in the show is amazing, and Darth Vader was the highlight.

Runner Up: Ghosts Season 4

Rerelease

Spider-Man: No Way Home: The more fun stuff edition undoubtably takes the place, I did not think you could top No Way Home, but No Way Home with Eleven minutes more footage, is less the more fun stuff, more depressing stuff, it definitely is a lot more emotional than the first release, and I am all for that.

Runnner Up: Star Trek: Wrath of Khan: Directors Cut

Actor

I know he has won multiple awards for his acting this year but Ryan Reynolds has delivered some of the most funny, emotional and great films this year. The Adam Project and Spirited to name a few. Lets not forget the excellent tease for Deadpool 3 he released this year.

Runner up: Tom Cruise

Comic Book Movie

Ryan Coogler this year has created a Wonderfull and emotional tribute to Chadwick Boseman whilst giving a great film in the form of Black Panther Wakanda Forever.

The amazing soundtrack, style and generally videography is fabulous.

Documentary

This year I have tried to watch as many documentaries as possible, and I tell you that Chris Hemsworth: Limitless is an absolute treat to watch.

Movie

Now the moment you all have been waiting for: My top movie of the year is Top Gun Maverick. Tom Cruise can return 36 years later and still execute a great movie better than the first is unbelievable. Well done Crusie.
