Hello everybody, welcome to my full review of Jedi Survivor. First we will talk about the gameplay, then the story.

Gameplay

First of all, there is a lot of customisation in this game. So much, you sometimes get lost in customisation features, and I only have unlocked two of each category. Cal's hair and beard, BD1's head, Lightaber age and Jackets are all customisable.

The stances in this game include, Single bladed, Double Blade, Dual Wield, Blaster and Kylo Ren style saber. With all the sabers, I prefer the Dual Wield best. It has one of the best skill trees, and it feels like the smoothest combat.

The Graphics are also the best they have ever been for a Star Wars game. Some of the cutscenes look amazing, some of them look realistic. The opening mission in Corrusant was beautiful and it is great we get to revisit it instead of the last opening mission in Fallen Order.

I do like the inclusion of Jedi Padawan mode. I think it is as easy as Story Mode from the last game but instead Story Mode in this game is one hit does 20 damage. It makes me feel better for not choosing the easiest mode.

The new mechanics in this game are also pretty good. BDnoculaurs are pretty useful when you don't know where to go and the portable zip lane feels so smooth. Find your foe is also one of the neatest features. There was an area were I was killed, then when I got back there and killed my foe it restored my energy.

Fighting with the NPCs, Bode and Merrin, actually doesn't feel like you are doing all the work for the NPCs. There were times were they would help in combat were I really need it.

Story

Starting in Corrusant was what elevated the gameplay in the first level. When Gabs died, it just feels off. We were introduced to these characters a cutscene ago, and we are meant to feel emotional after there death?

Koboh may be one of my favourite open worlds in video games, The rocky cliffs, the underground Jedi Temple to Tanoloor, the floating base and the streets are full of things to do, like Garry the Door Technician, who is a boss. The Rancour fight was also really fun, and annoying.

In Jedha, we see Merrin and Cere and it felt like a nice reunion for the characters. All of the teleportation running scenes all feel so smooth and definitely one of my favourite parts.

One thing I didn't like was we kept hopping back and fourth through the same places on the same planets, I get it was to make the game longer but I would like to see some new terrain or planet on Jedha or the Shattered Moon, heck, even the outside of Corrusant to go in the Jedi Temple.

The Dagan Gerra fight was pretty easy, and a bit wasted, Bode turned to the Dark Side, Cal dies and we get to play as Cere a bit. The Darth Vader fight was one of the best parts, sort of annoyed we didn't get to play as Cal to fight Vader with all the skill tree abilities and our seven stems, but it still was a great fight.

The Embrace the Dark Side move was also really cool. It sort of felty like the slow down move but red, but it was still really fun to play with. I did not expect Cal to kill Bode on Tanalor, and I think that was a bit harsh, with Bode's daughter behind them.

My prediction is they are going to make the third (and last) game in 2026, it will probably be called Jedi Sacrifice or Jedi Hunted, and Cal might die in the next game.

Overall, I give Jedi Survivor an 8.75 out of 10.
