Colin Trevor, who wrote the Last Jedi, has an original script for his version of the Rise of Skywalker, which would have been called: Duel of the Fates. Without further a due, with a combined script form all three drafts here is Star Wars: Duel of the Fates.

Star Wars: Duel of the Fates, would have had Rey with darker robes like Luke in Return of the Jedi, but instead with a double-sided blue lightsaber. Rey rescues Finn, Poe and Rose from an Empire's ship, they escape in Reys new ship.
Kylo Ren, now with stubble is being haunted with ghosts from his pasts, Luke Skywalker is trying to convince Kylo to be good, but Kylo finds an old Holocron, with a secret message for Vader, telling him to go and find Torr Vallum.

Kylo heads to Torr Vallum, who is Palatine's second master. Torr Vallum teaches Kylo to suck life out of things with the force. Then, he sees a vision of Darth Vader, who fights him, but, out of frustration, he then sucks the life out of Vallum.

Kylo is then brutally wounded by the Mandalorian Metal: Beskar. This was going to set up the Mandalorian series. Kylo the says to his fathers mask: I don't need you any more, and re-uses its parts from Vader's mask as his own.

The Rebelion has activated a beacon that sends a message to rebels and Jedi, this is a bit like the seeing stone from the Mandalorian. Here we would get cameos of lots of characters from Star Wars.

Rey and Kylo are seeing visions of their parents. Rey finds out that Kylo killed her parents, and Kylo sees a vision of Han Solo, a bit like the final film. Rey and Kylo fight, but Rey is blinded, and Kylo uses the force to suck the life out of Rey.
All the Rebels that saw the beacon have a big fight with the Empire over Corrosant. General Hux sees the fall of Corrosant, and impales himself with Mace Windu's lightsaber.

Kylo sees visions of Luke, Leia, and Han Solo, who tells him to stop being bad, Kylo gives the life back into Rey, which kills him. Before being resurrected, Rey sees Obi Wan, Yoda and Luke, who tell her that her name is Rey Sallona.

Rey starts the new Jedi order, not in the light, or in the dark.
Why wasn't this the version we would of got?
