The Collector was WASTED in the MCU

I was rewatching Thor: Dark World the other day when I realised: What If the Collector did Succeed? He did want all the infinity stones, and judging by his collection, he probably had the materials to do it.

I was looking back at MARVEL comics and the Collector has a habit of collecting the Avengers, he can fend off Hercules and has once even confused Deadpool. This guy could off been a great threat, and after the Guardians bought Knowhere off the Collector, I don't thin the will show up again.
