Last evening we got are first official trailer for Doctor Who's 60th specials. Today I will be breaking down all the easter eggs in this trailer and all my theories about who will be appearing in this anniversary.
0:28 We get footage we have already seen until this shot, where we see where the Doctor will probably meet Donna again. There has been a leak showcasing this full scene without all the extras, and the Doctor will try to look away, so Donna's head doesn't explode.
0:36 There is a new character in the specials making an appearance for the first time: Shirley Anne, she is probably a more important character than most people think, as she knows that the Doctor is a timecard, and isn't freaked out when he says that Donna's head will explode.
0:39 A spaceship crashes right infant of Donna and the Doctor. This is probably Beep the Meeps ship. I don't think Beep was running away from the monsters and cranes on Earth, I think that he purposely guided them to Earth. Perhaps he some sort of puppet of Neil Patrick Harris's character.
0:44 What seems like it will be a rather chaotic scene, showcases the Doctor entering Donna Nobles house, an army unit showing up with bazookas and Beep the Meep in the Noble house.
0:50 One of the coolest shots in the trailer is when the Doctor deflects bullets with his body. This is interesting, because in the Doctor Who movie (some may consider this canon) the Doctor regenerates after being shot. Maybe the Doctors regeneration isn't working and that is why he has the face of his old incarnation.
1:01 Doctor says he has a memory, and after a very long time, something is coming back. There is a fan theory that Neil Patrick Harris's character could be a regenerated version of a character from Doctor Who's Past. Meddling Monk and Toymaker our names that have been mentioned or who this could be.
1:12 It looks like Donna has gained her memories back, but how? I believe that because Neil's character is tinkering with everyones heads, this gives a gateway of time that the Doctor and Donna can still talk to each other without her head exploding.
1:28 We finally see that U.N.I.T is very much back in action with a towering skyscraper and Kate Lethbridge Stewart leading. There is a rumour we might get a UNIT TV show, and leaks are showing a UNIT ship similar to Marvel's helicarrier.
1:35 Everyones head is being messed with by what I think is the giggle, that is getting in everyones heads and causing them to go mad, crashing cars, and even aeroplanes.
1:38 A mysterious purple light shines, I wonder what this could be. Maybe the source of the giggle?
1:40 We get A very interesting series of shots, showcasing the Doctor recognising Neil Patrick Harris, to London set on fire, to the Doctor screaming and a giant version of Neil Patrick Harris controlling something like a puppeteer.
2:11 We finally see Ncuti Gatwa, but I don't think this is at the end of the episodes, we hear a regeneration noise, but I think it is much more complex reasons and they are just baiting us.
