Ranking 15 years of Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies from Worst to Best.

There has been 15 years of Marvel movies, but the question is, have they declined in quality over the past few years? This is my honest ranking of the Marvel films, but don't get mad, this is just my opinion.

Thor: The Dark World

This movie tries to do too many things from being a comedy, to a coming back home story, a galaxy travelling adventure and a romance. This movie rushed too quickly to release date and the writing lacked. Although, Christopher Eclleston's character is one of the most under-rated MCU villains. -3/10

Eternals

This movie tried to do so many things yet failed in every single way by making a whole set of new heroes in one movie. It would be like introducing the Inhumans and Mutants in one movie and saying they have been here the entire time. If they did tease them in Endgame, and made this a slower TV show, it would of been better. -5/10

Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is a film which establishes a new powerful character with twenty-three years of being there and no-one has tried to call her yet, it just feels like a Thor knock-off. One of the reasons people like it is that it bridges the gap between Endgame, but after a rewatch, it doesn't stand on its own. -5/10

Black Widow

This movie feels so weird, it is based off a character who died two movies ago and set almost 10 years (MCU timeline) ago. It should have came out after Civil War, I get it was there to set up Thunderbolts, so why didn't we have a Yelena movie? This is a sign of over spin-off-ication.-5/10

After rewatch, I think that Thor: Love and Thunder is a great film and Christian Bale is a great Gorr, but it was just too much of a Taika Waititi film to be a Marvel film. There was too many jokes and gags, but Gorr should of been taken more seriously, with high stakes. -6/10

Thor

Like I said, Captain Marvel is just a Thor knock-off and these two movies are all exactly the same: Alien comes to earth, understands earth, wants to stay on earth, leaves earth to fight space bad guys. The lazy writing brings this movie down. -6/10

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Although I think it is critically underrated, it still has flaws. It felt like a 2hr long trailer for Phase 5/6. Kang was a good villain, but I do not see the point as he could just come back in the infinite multiverse. Marvel hasnt done a very good job making Kang threatening. -6/10

Avengers Age of Ultron.

This film has lots individual plot points. From Ultron being a suit of armor around the world to being a villain, this film is very confusing but introduces itch and Quicksilver, and it reminds me of a comic book more than any other Avengers film.-7/10

Marvels:

The Marvels delivers a better sequel to Captain Marvel, whilst also introducing the X-Men in a fascinating way. Story is a bit silly. -7/10.

A great film to deliver respects to Chadwick Boseman and a film to compare to Avatar (2007). Great things are delivered by Ryan Coogler ever time. The film does suffer from too much setting up Disney+ shows. -7/10.

Iron Man 2

This movie gets a lot of hate for not being as good as the first, but at the time this didn't have a lot of competition. And it is good stand alone. My least favourite part is what they tried to do with Whiplash, but it was a satisfying introduction for War Machine into the MCU.-7/10

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Everybody expected this to be the big cameo store but it only delivered a small cameo market but we have to be grateful for what we got. Doctor Strange did get overshadowed by the other characters in his own film, but I do like the visuals and storytelling. -7/10

Ant Man.

Paul Rudd delivers a hilarious performance in Ant-Man's first film, but the long dialogue scenes and world building moments, drag way from the films creative final battle and ending moments. A very interesting take on the micro-verse in the Quantum Realm. -7/10

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.

This sequel is probably the third best MCU sequel. The graphics are great, Ego is a good villain and it is absolutely hilarious but the story is too slow. You could not watch this film and Infinity War could make sense, but it is a must watch. -8/10

Doctor Strange

The Visuals and mind bending graphics drive you away from the actual plot of the film, which does have some shining moments, but is a little boring in some places. I did love the Dormamu scene though. -8/10

Ant Man and the Wasp.

In my opinion this film is way to over hated, I think it's great! Luis is very funny in the recap sequences and it was a very interesting take on Ghost. The thing I find funny though, is they never say Wasp in this film or Quantumania. -8/10

Iron Man 3

A fun Christmas special for the Iron Man franchise. I think it set up the Ten Rings to early, but I also think it wouldn't of worked without the Ten Rings and the Mandarin. This film has a lot of potential, and some parts were wasted. -8/10

Spider-Man Far From Home

Mysterio is a great villain, Tom Holland is the best Peter Parker and Ned Leeds is the best guy in the chair, although the film does suffer from making it too much of an Iron-Man Jr story then a Spider-Man one .-8/10

Captain America The First Avenger

This film is a great take on Captain America and the 1940's setting is great. My only dis, is that we didn't see ore of these early days MCU films. The Human Torch, Marvel-Boy and lots more would fit perfect in this setting. -8/10

Shang Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings

This MCU film is one of the best in Phase four with an amazing villain and epic action scenes. Finally establishing the Ten Rings after a decade and brinigng the MCU together after a while. This is the Infinity Saga quality I was expecting. -8/10

Avengers

This was the first crossover movie after Roger Rabbit and is a good film to introduce the characters together. Loki is still top five MCU villains, especially after his series this year. Although, the world building was minimal, especially for the first team up movie. -8/10.

James Gunn's finale for these characters delivers emotion and a great villain but it feels like they kept the characters alive for spin offs.-8/10

Spider-Man Homecoming

It is sort of like a High School Musical meets MCU movies and it is the most rewatchable MCU film. -8/10

Captain America Civil War

Combining two of the top best MCU movies: Spider-Man Homecoming and Black Panther with an almost worldwide argument, delivers an almost Avengers 2 1/2. Great world building. -8/10

Thor: Ragnarok

The funniest Thor movie with amazing Hulk moments, villian and new characters and great Doctor Strange cameo.- 9/10.

Captain America the Winter Soldier

Best MCU sequel ever. The cast is great Bucky Barnes has a great character ark and Russo brothers are amazing at directing, and it really shows here. -9/10.

Black Panther

Black Panther is a great film, with an excellent performance by Chadwick Boseman that shows his amazing legacy as an actor. -9/10

Iron Man

The first Movie in the MCU is amazing. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man is one of the best castings. -9/10

Spider-Man No Way Home

I used to say this was the best MCU film but it lies here now because after rewatch it wasn't that good, It still is top 5 MCU films. All three Spider-Men, villains and Daredevil. -9/10.

Avengers Endgame

The highest grossing movie of 2019 an amazing ending to the Infinity Saga with an unexpected time travel plot. -9/10

Funniest MCU film which introduced five new characters and Thanos in the correct way and absolutely hilarious.-10/10

Avengers Infinity War

Every single Avenger together and a two hour long version to Endgame final battle. Fan service at peak. Thanos its still the best MCU villain and Russo brothers are great at making an Avengers return film. -11/10.
