The writers strike has ended, and James Gunn has stated who is staying for the new DCU and which actors will be returning to play their same roles from the original DCEU. The first who is staying is John Cena as Peacemaker. This one was sort of obvious as James Gunn is planning on a Peacemaker: Season 2.
The second is Violla Davis as Amanda Waller. This one was also a bit obvious as she was a big character in the Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, and will sort of be the Nick Fury of this universe. She is probably going to appear in Creature Commandos and the Authority, maybe Super-Man Legacy as well.
The final is Xolo Maridueña who will be returning as Haime Reyes in the new DC universe. His film will not be canon though, only its post credit scenes. We might see him in Booster Gold as well as the original Blue Beetle in this universe, Ted Kord.
Jason Mamoa is being rumoured as casted as a new character, perhaps he could be Lobo?
