Loki Season 2: Episode One Review

Loki Season Two has had a great start with Episode One, Ouroboros. I was worried that Loki Season Two wouldn't hold up compared to Season One, because Season One was one of the best Disney+ shows so far and recently, Marvel shows and movies haven't really compared to Infinity Saga Movies.

The season picks up where the last left off, and it is revealed that Loki is not actually in a different timeline, he was in the past. One inconstancy in the last that was in Series one, Mobius and B-15 were discussing the timeline branching, however, if this is in the past, it must of been another time when the Timeline branched. Perhaps this is were the TVA will arrest Deadpool, as in Deadpool 2 he was messing up the timeline.

Next we meet the new TVA agent: X5 who is played by Rafael Casal. This is confusing, because from the trailers, we assumed he would play the actor in the Zaniac movie scenes. I have a theory that this is X5's previous life is this actor and we will come back to this later.

I really liked the time slipping in this episode. It was a unique way of doing time travel in this episode. It had a lot of high steaks, but I think they were a bit two high for the first episode, as we all knew they were both going to make it out alive. The Ouroboros character in this episode might be one of my favourite Marvel characters.

We finish this episode with a post credit scene, featuring Sylvie going to a 1982 Mcdonalds restaurant and ordering everything. It makes sense that know Sylvie isn't running from the TVA she would want to try everything, as she was kept prisoner for a large portion of her life.

Overall: 8.5/10.
