Recently there has been a lot of controversy surrounding which universe is the true 616, the comics, the MCU or the Spider-Verse Peter B Parker's reality. Across the Spider-Verse released week a go and there is a small detail in that film, every time they travel to Peter B Parker reality, the watch reads: 616B. This would make the comic universe is 616A and the MCU is 616C or any other letter of the alphabet.
I have a theory that if the new universe makes a different choice it becomes a number further down the line, if the new universe is almost the same as another one it is named with a letter of the alphabet. For example in universe 1610 in the comics is the ultimate universe, but in Spider-Verse, Miles's reality would be named 1610B or any other letter of the alphabet.
Meanwhile in 1610A there is a recent comic called Spider-Verse. This is the most recent Spider-Verse comic and in this comic, a portal opened in this comic containing Carnage Spider-Ma'am and Evil Peter Parker+ Uncle Ben with a blue sweater on, exactly like it brung the Vulture to Gwen's reality.
Also, now thinking about it, in Morbius it was kind of random that Vulture just showed up in Morbius's reality (now confirmed in across the Spider-Verse to be universe 688) but now because the villains are showing up across the Arachno-poly-Multiverse it makes sense.
