Hello everybody, welcome to my review of the new DC anime, My Adventures with Super-Man. The episodes art-style is absolutely amazing, and reminds me of a lot of other anime's, but also has its unique art style, that I really enjoy. I think that the castings of the Super-Man is also great.
I loved the charm, banta and the quirkiness of the characters, and the Lois and Clark relationship was handled perfectly. I enjoy the the relationship scenes in the show and how Jimmy Olsen interrupts as is kind of like a third wheel to the relationship sometimes.
Speaking of Jimmy Olsen, I thought that the Youtube channel he starts, is very unrealistic, as he has no editing, and is just a teenager, and got 5.6 million subscribers in a few weeks. Even more unrealistic, at the end of the show he sells the channel for 5.6 million dollars.
The villains was also a thing I didn't like about the show. Instead of doing the comic book characters, we instead have a Suicide Squad to fight Super-Man with tech suits instead of powers. I did like Mr Mxyptlk though, he was designed like a genie. If you want to know my breakdown on that episode, I will have it linked here.
Zero Day is actually a very good plot, to show how pure of heart Super-Man actually is. Season 2 is confirmed to be releasing and is probably going to include either Zod or Brainiac as the main villain. Overall I give it an 8/10.
