Spider-Man 2: Story Explained!

Just recently a gameplay showcase of Spider-Man 2 was revealed and they had some interesting details. Today we are breaking down the story and the Great Hunt to find out the true plot of the game.

We know Dr Connors, Kraven the Hunter, Venom and Green Goblin are all confirmed villains (Harry Osborn was in a mysterious green chamber in the post credit scene from the last game) we also have the Prowler, who could be a villain, but I doubt it.

I think the game is going to show Peter trying to get another job after Dr Octopus, and start to work for Oscorp as a mentor of Dr Connors. One day when Peter is going home from work he finds the symbiote.

Meanwhile Kraven will be starting the hunt and takes down Black Cat. Miles will contact Peter about the hunt after being warned by his uncle, the Prowler.

Peter shows Doctor Connors the symbiote.

Connors will try to use the symbiote to try to regenerate an animals body part, it works and Connors tries it on himself and he turns into the Lizard. Peter will try to go after the Lizard, but the symbiote latches on to him. Peter feels more power and fights a gang in the street to test the power out. Eddie Brock takes pictures of this.

Spider-Man goes after the Lizard and this would be were we see the first twelve minutes of gameplay we saw at PlayStation Showcase. Miles will investigate Oscorp to find out more about the symbiote and finds out about its negative impact. Miles probably will try to fight Peter to get symbiote off.

They go to a clocktower and Miles rings the bell, and the symbiote slips off spider-Man. Miles and Peter would fight the Venom symbiote which is now on Eddie Brock. Eddie will join forces with Kraven, but Kraven will double cross Eddie claiming the Symbiote for himself.
