“Order, Order!” Shouts a judge, “We find Henry Allen, still guilty of the murder of Nora Allen, and is sentenced to an extra decade of time in prison for escape attempt.”

Barry is outside and buries his head in his hands and looks at his father being taken away from the room by some police officers. The Flash had tried to break his father out, but due to advancing technology he was unable. His father still didn’t know about his son’s true identity as the Flash and due to Flash moving at superspeed, he didn’t know that he was there.

His father turns and smiles at Barry before being escorted into the police vehicle. Suddenly, Barry turns around. His ring that Bruce gave him was beeping, he quickly hid it under his shirt and went to an alley to take a look. The ring was glowing and it emitted a square beam: “Justice League needed.” Barry tapped the ring and ran.

He had a new suit, much like his previous, but instead it had a smooth crimson body suit under his armour that Bruce said could withstand the weight of light and matter. Aquaman ran towards the lighthouse and gestured towards Barry. “Scarecrow has planted bombs across the American Coast.” Batman said over the radio. “Barry, go over to the lighthouse!”

Barry shot towards the lighthouse with his superspeed and grabs the bombs, chucking them into the ocean. “Go to the submarine next.” Batman said. “I already finished!” Chuckles Barry, as he whizzes out the submarine. “Well, go to Gotham.” Bruce tells Flash.

The Flash zooms towards Gotham city with The Atom, a new Justice League recruit who harnessed similar tech to the Flash and could reduce his size. Batman arrives just in time as they ambush into Scarecrow’s shack. They have an upper hand in the fight until Scarecrow releases a toxin out of a tank.

“Don’t believe anything you see!” Shouts Batman, “These toxins make you hallucinate, a lot.” The Flash turns around and sees a yellow blur. “Barry!” Batman shouts and in a second Flash chases it. This is the yellow blur that killed Barry’s mom. Nobody else believes him, but in blind rage he runs towards the blur.

After what feels like a race, and several laps of Planet Earth, The Flash’s armour breaks, but his crimson suit stays as he goes faster than the speed of light. He lands in an astral plane, the centre of time itself. After running faster, he is spat back into the shack. He tries to get up and hears the Scarecrow say, “Who are you?” Which confuses Barry.

“I’m Batman.” Batman says. Barry gets up, this is not the voice of Bruce he knows. He tries to go towards Bruce to see but is sent back into the astral plane and then back into the shack again. The Bruce that Barry knows helps Barry up. “Are you alright?” He speaks. Barry shrugs what he saw off, he probably fainted when the toxins came. “Yes.” Barry answered.

When Barry got to the new JL manor, he stayed up all night, thinking of logical explanations and how he could get his father out of prison. Bruce found him on his computer. “Barry,” Bruce said, curious, “What did you see when you ran away from the shack?” Barry then realized, he didn’t hallucinate, he did run out of the shack.

“I saw, things, very weird, blurry things, I followed a blur that I thought killed my mom, but then my suit shattered and I was in space then I landed in the shack, but things were different, you were a different guy, Atom was not there.” Barry told Bruce. Bruce sighs, “You see, Scarecrow’s toxin, it wasn’t a lie, it simulates your biggest fears.” Bruce said “So, it was real?” Barry asked. “I think what you saw was another universe.” Bruce said as he left the room.

This had gotten Barry thinking, another universe, a multiverse, anything was possible. Then the yellow blur, perhaps the yellow blur was from the other universe. Maybe there was another universe with his parents, still alive.

Barry woke up, he slept on his keyboard and his ring was beeping. He quickly leapt up and ran towards the city with his suit. “Snart has struck!” Shouts Batman. Wonder Woman, Flash, Batman and Shazam (Post credit scene in Shazam 2 changed to have Cyborg and Alfred recruit Shazam for Justice League).

They all go to the bank, where Leonard Snart is robbing the bank, Barry goes towards Captain Cold and misses. Snart blasts Barry with a cold gun, which dampens his Meta abilities, Snart runs to a car and they drive off. The rest of Justice League chase the vehicle, but Barry sees a yellow blur.

His meta-abilities had been dampened, but he still chased the blur at some sort of speed, and back in the astral realm. He landed in a living room, it was familiar, he was in his old living room. He saw his mom; the yellow blur was running towards her. He tackled the blur out of the way in anger, with no idea what he was doing and was spat back into the astral plane.

Barry looked around; he believed that things were different but he didn’t know, it happened so fast, he whizzed towards the bank Captain Cold was robing, he was a bit early in time and he knew the mistake he made, so he captured Snart and ran away. There was no Justice League to be seen. Confused, he ran back to the JL building.

He key did not work, so he phased in using his powers. After entering the elevator to get to his room, he was knocked out.

To be continued....
