A trailer for the anime Suicide film was just released onto YouTube, and I thought it looked pretty intriguing. The bar for Suicide Squad film has been set pretty high by James Gunn, and animation could raise the bar. The film however does look pretty Harley Quinn and Joker based.
The other characters of the Suicide Squad is what elevated the 2021 film, and took down the 2015 film. I hope The Joker in this film can be pretty evil and likeable unlike the other Joker adaptations we saw in the DCEU. I wonder if this DC adaptation will spawn a universe. Maybe connecting to the new Super-Man animated series premiering tomorrow?
