What If? There was a decade long Spider-Man TV show that covered nine season and is remembered as one of the best TV shows. In this video I will try and plot out what it would look like following a similar structure to the Flash.
Season One:
Spider-Man origin story, gets a job at Oscorp and Harry Osborn would be an assistant to Peter and Gwen would be the love interest. Norman Osborn would act as a Thawn type mentor and will be revealed to be the villain Green Goblin.
Season Two:
The villain would be the mysterious Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly) until Peter and Harry capture Ben and realise he is a clone of Peter Parker, Gwen would find out Peter is Spider-Man through this and they would find out the real villain, the Jackal.
Season Three:
In this season the plot will revolve around the nexus project, a nexus so powerful that it could destroy the sun. A failed Nexus experiment resolved in lots of villains being created including the Doctor Octopus, Otto Octavius, the conductor of the Nexus Experiment.
Season Four:
Due to the Nexus experiment, more crimes are occurring, but it has become to Peters attention that the Nexus experiment created heroes too, Miles Morales (Spider-Kid) Iceman, Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and FireStorm. They become a team known as the Amazing Friends of Spider-Man to face the wrath of Kraven the Hunter.
Season Five:
Kraven’s wrath continues as he dawns a mysterious grey and black suit that The Amazing friends think was created by the Nexus but when it joins and corrupts Peter the Amazing Friends take action. They find out that it was from space and is called Venom, and it uses the same kind of Nexus energy as the Goblin Gasses.
Season Six:
Harry Osborne finds an old Goblin suit and modifies it to his liking and becomes the Goblin King, joining the Amazing Friends. It is not long before Harry finds out about the Goblin Gasses and turns on the Amazing friends and Peter, killing Gwen Stacy, the love of Peter’s life. Peter disgusts Harry.
Season Seven:
Peter is in shambles, without a girlfriend and the hospitality of his Aunt May, he has no other choice and goes to Iron Man and reveals his Secret Identity. Peter lives with Aunt May in Stark Industries but when a bullet meant for Peter hits Aunt May, Peter goes to the killer and sees a gang of villains one of which is Harry Osborne, in anger he kills Harry.
Season Eight:
The Amazing friends are trying to do everything they can to help Peter and after getting a new costume and with the help of Tony, they build Spiders-Web a HQ in New York for the Amazing friends. Peter makes a deal with a mythical being that every thing that happened in the last 3 seasons never happened. Unfortunately it does not work and there is a cliffhanger ending.
Season Nine:
Peter ends up in a world where his parents never die but in the timeline there is no Peter Parker however the Amazing friends still exist. Peter finds Miles who is the Spider-Man in this universe and through Spider -Verse shananagins Peter gets home and Gwen is still alive, but she is from another universe and is Spider-Woman. The show would end with all three Spider-People swinging off into the distance.
